    Barrel length and speed - interesting articles [6.5 Creedmoor and .308]

    I was doing some research on the net trying to decide what length to make my 6.5 Creedmoor barrel and came upon these reports. Interesting real world results showing velocities as a barrel is shortened inch by inch.

    I like the bit in the first article where he just ordered all the bits he wanted from Brownells, Action trigger stock barrel etc. I cant imagine a kiwi shooter wanting to do that just to see what the chop speeds would do.
