    lead cames

    from old leadlight windows any good for casting? stripped out some fucked old windows before they go to the dump research tells me its almost pure lead with a smidge of antimony and maybe some bismuth but im not a metalurgist so i dont really know

    Once the scum off the top has been discarded (after melting), it should be no different to any other old lead

    pretty close to pure though the solder used to join the lead strips together will be 50/50 or 60/40 lead/tin. no big issue though
