I think they are the best of both they seem to perform like AB but at a lower speed so good at longer range.
I feel the B Tips and AB need speed.
Which maybe why people find the 140 AB in 6.5 doesn't go that well.
Ive used the 130AB in the .260 and found them great, and really like the 142 ABLR in the .260 and Creedmoor
