Yep RL25 goes real well in 7mmRM. i run 162 AMAXs at ~3030 fps out of 24in bbl. Have not tried RL26 in the RM yet as I've got a couple of pots of RL25 to burn through first.

71 grs of AR 2225 (Retumbo) with the 162 gr ELDX at2900 fps. That load shot a 19 mm group when I tried it so use it now. RL 25 should be fine in the 7mm Mag with those bullets.

Have not tried 25 we started at 67 up to 72 or 73 I cant remember we didn't take notes as it was just trying to eliminate powder choice from and inaccurate rifle I'd call 70 71 max though 72 was wild fast (3180) but would be way over pressure

shot some groups today 1gr charges, started alright, then blew out, then come in pretty good up where you fellas are talking, where would you go from here?

no signs of pressure at 70gr, the 69gr load is just phat of an inch (id be happy with that lol)

my seating is like .5mm off lands ,- i have thoughts on the next game play - but wanna hear what you rekon from this..

    cheers
(* edit- because today was warm i shot 2 shots of 68, then 69, then 70 before waiting for barrel too fully cool an come back to 69 70 final shots.... an when 68 printed so far apart i left it there..
so theres not a bad area at 69 70 maybe? or maybe fluke...revisit 69 for sure tomorow... )

just to close this thread off, i got onto a winner.

i went up t0 71 grains aswell an didnt show much signs of pressure although certainly know when it goes off.. group opened up though so no need to be up there.

found a sweet spot with the seating an all that jazz around 69 and 69.5 was tighest, under an inch (fairly unheard of for me) so ive loaded that for now! will do some other groups and then get on with it

should be very close to that 3000 fps with the 26 inch tube and 162 ELDX.

    thanks all.
