Think I will try some IMR4831...oldie but goodie
I've used it in my .260AI , .260 and a 6.5 Creedmore all the .260 versions are in the 47 grain area I started at 45grns but mine are seated out long 20 thou off the lands and are running at the top end I'm getting over 2800fps with the 143ELDX with all three .260 although I do use RL22 in my Forbes.

    Superformance powder

I was hurting brass at 47.0 and I’m not into hurting Lapua so I moved on. No signs with R17, no pressure and accuracy is ok.
Am interested in trying R16 next time failing that I’ll be back into 2209 or improving it just because I can and they look cool

I tried RL16 hit pressure and compressed loads it wasn't any where as good as Hodgdon superproformance powder or RL22.
