Thread: .223 ammo choices for farm pest control

Hi Ben, belmont black 62 gr sp is my everyday choice good for everything but I've never shot a red with it and would be a bit reluctant to even try.
I recently discovered their 55 gr frangible and have adopted that as an alternative to 22 magnum as it's cheaper and I don't have to guess distance at night. It also reduces ricochet potential and makes hares dissapear. I've shot a few smallish goats as well with it but it wouldn't be my first choice by any means.
