    3 Doc huts

    Have been gifted to the local Maori iwi north east of Turangi .These hut were not on the record because Doc use them for private company use for staff .
    Deer numbers are really high and skinny .

    thats the thing. If its in an area with heaps of skinny deer it would make sense to make that information available to the wider hunting public.

    After their disgusting performance throughout the Waipakihi rd debacle and now this - I really think DOC Turangi are too much Turangi and not enough DOC.
    They seem to have lost sight of the public service part of their charter in a rush to embrace the local part of Co governance.

    I'd love to be proven wrong.
