Thread: Awatere / Acheron Roads question

Hi,
Tried an internet search for this info but what I found wasn't clear to me.
Asking if the Awatere and Acheron Roads to access Molesworth have reopened now after storm damage repairs. DOC website info suggests they are open but thought I would double check here too.

I can find out on Tuesday maybe once I'm back in Hanmer and at work. Wife who works at Isite thinks it is but can't be certain either yet.

Yeah it's open. We had stock trucks and utes down it the other week.

Is it open from the Seddon end ? Sorry, forgot to ask in my original post.

Manty thanks HJ. I meant to ask if it's open from the Seddon end. If your wife can find out for sure that would be great.

Yep, open all the way thru.

Rainbow was only open briefly for labour weekend tho, so to my knowledge that side from st Arnaud remains closed till it's usual opening date in December.
