Yes I did earlier this year, when I took my son for a walk. No deer spotted. Not sure what animal numbers are like round there on DoC land. I've heard that on the private hill country there are reasonable numbers.

Salisbury Falls very popular for swimming and gold fossicking. Sadly the old swingbridge was swept away in a flood.

I'm up this way at the moment and apparently Lorna never had kids and it's probably her grand niece.
