Quite plausible eating tongue I think ( not a stinky old stag) although I wouldn't personally. I think Shay from Keeping It Wild tried tongue in one of his videos.

We eat the hearts tounges and livers of the Reindeer we shoot. The tounges are pretty good fresh.

Funny how some take tasty cuts of meat and smother it in added flavours so they think it tastes great. But won't eat the bits that are full of flavour without additives.
And I don't mean pissed up stag flavour.
The offal from good eating animals has flavours which can't be duplicated with spices and such crap.
Micky Duck, ROKTOY and Finnwolf like this.

Thanks, I always wondered what cooked jandal would be like!

Me and a mate had some liver from a whitetail on Stewart Island 25 years ago.
It was terrible. First time id ever had venison liver. I had a couple of mouthfuls and it was bitter as. I thought it might always be like that so I didn't want to give in first, then Bob capitulated.
Think we might have thrown it in the sea for the fishes.
I'd have it again but that one was naff
