If the dose is sub lethal it is processed and flushed from your system. Its the animals that die that pose the secondary poisoning threat. It can persist in carcasses for months
I read a report after they did a drop on ulva island , everything copt a dose rite down to the cod & mussels unbelievable , even the tree,s take the stuff up once it breaks down .
