    I use a belt with some army surplus pouches as I don't like having anything on my back if I can avoid it. Lot of good bags out there, but many have zips. Zips are bloody noisy!

    Noisy to open or noisy because if the metal pull tabs jangling about?

    The jangly metal zips are soon seen to with a set of cutters and small paracord loops put in their place.

    Yes, have paracord on all my zips. Opening/closing is the issue. I make more noise when I'm walking, but when sitting in wait for an animal to appear, a zip can be painfully loud at times.
