Obviously there will be a thread about a conspiracy theory behind giving recreation hunters money. Meanwhile I will look at some topomaps for where I am going next.

I certainly understand why some of us are not ecstatic about this . After the last Minister of Conservations blatantly anti hunting philosophies and referring to us as "cunters" I think most people would be hesitant to enter into any sort of deal with the govt.

I would like to think this is a genuine attempt at involving hunters in animal management . The cynic in me is sceptical , but I am prepared to put that bias aside and see how this unfolds.

I think its only a tokin gesture but im glad NZDA is getting some funding but i think if they wanted to do something that will have results improve access its beyond frustrating going down a
paper road and hitting a private land/gate bullshit when there is suppose to be public access.
If it's a paper road then you are 100% within your rights to walk on that road to get access to the public land.
