I cant find the maps that showed liberation areas in the South Island but DOC worked extremely hard to get the little satellite populations back to zero.

The Sika pop in the NI is spreading out fast too, its amazing where they have spread out to in the last ten years.

I seen some when doing venny well south of where you would think they should be. They turned me inside out when I chased them around a bit. They can move at a great pace when they want. A herd in the south would make the NI redundant in my book. May still need the N island to breed the odd fast outside back for the AB's but that would be it.
