A lot of deer are 'shot' in the bush at well within bow ranges mate, just because you hunt with a bow doesn't make it any harder or increase the need to utilise the wind.

PS a true ninja does not need gimmicks to out wit his foe

I realise that ..the MASSIVE difference a rifle has the ability to drop an animal at a 100m and beyond because of a scope ..because a bow is not scoped out like a rifle and we have a peep and pins (compound bow) we HAVE to be with in 60m unless you a crack shot like "Tim Wells" who's nailing targets out to 110m no peep no pins and this guy is nailing prairie dogs that is unreal shooting ..shooting a bow compared to a rifle goes like this 10m with a bow is the equivalent to a scoped rifle at a 100m ..if you even want to come a shoot a bow and see what it's like I have an archery workshop set up in my garage with the rugby fields across the road so I can practice long range ...keep it coming boys this is beautiful

Wow I sense a bit of heavy energy in that reply ..but it means bugger all to me just illustrates you butt hurting ..why do you hate because someone chooses to hunt a specific way ..your opinion is your opinion mine is mine ..does it serve well when the common ground is hunting ..I bet the car you drive is different to the one I drive ..both are a means of transporting us somewhere a lot quicker than walking ..once again cheers for the reply Gibo

Are you pushing buttons for a laugh or are you just dick?
go back and read your comments.

I have only smashed over goats ?( do you eat the goats you SMASH over ?)
No dogs for me I track for myself
do you have any idea the time and patience it takes to get a deer dog up to a level of hunting with you let alone getting one to a point where they will take you in on a animal?
A lot of us have deer dogs and most of us including myself will never get the first one up to a standard where they lead you in to a deer.
Never shot a deer but you are mocking bush hunters who do ?
If you had any real hunting experience in Bush stalking you would know that most deer shot this way are very close.
somebody gives advice and all you can reply is OH you need to bow hunt as if bow hunters are God like hunters.
Some are but they have done more than smash over a handful of goats which by the way I shoot the odd goat and take the meat but do not find it satisfying as there is not much skill involved.
sorry fellas if I sound like a dick now but this bloke is just stirring the pot for the sake of it.
    Love walking my gun

Can you answer Slowelliots genuine question as to what you are using for scent control. We are all interested to know.

Its funny you say that about the dog, as I've found that my tracking ability increased after I got a dog. She taught me heaps, and still is.
Nice head by the way @kimjon, (the stag)

+1 there. Wouldn't have found a few of my animals without the dog

As stated in another comment was really to do with pig hunting more so then a dog for deer hunting as I have an associate who is a rifle hunter and has a deer dog (last 2 months) which is a great success ..

Northern key aspect is how used to human smells they are, go hunting in one place where they are on a mates lawn, he can go put washing out and they don't get fussed

Calling people a 'champ' shows how much you really value the opinions of others. You seem to be up on some sort of pedestal? Have fun up there

Well I feel it's more respectful than calling them a prick or a wanker ..which I fell on this thread there is no need ..it's a place of sharing ones opinions good bad or ugly ..I don't bow to no one don't intend to ..people ain't coming forth to pay my bills and wipe my butt after a crap and yet when the replies towards me a phark you in a nice way at least I have the decency to accept their opinion but no one is happy about mine ..pedestal nice one a round about way of saying "phark you prick" ..just because you feel you hunt the way you hunt I respect that each to their own ..slowelliot asked for opinions I gave mine and most are pissed with it ..life is too short to hate we have a tendency to focus on the wrong things me included in other areas of my life in which I endeavour to work on ..
