Axel is a friend of ours. My girls have guided with him for a number of seasons up there. I got to wrangler and pack on a Caribou hunt with him and Sarah in 2023.
Hes crazy (cool crazy), ex paratrooper, smoke jumper, and in to a number of interests which dont do much to prolong his life expectancy.
But if any of you have too much money (sheep are expensive) and would like to give this a go, get in touch with me and I'll hook you up.

Awesome watch! Its amazing the plane can still take off carrying the enormous balls on the four blokes ready to jump out of it!

Axel has done about seven hundred and fifty jumps.
I asked why he would jump out of a perfectly good plane?
He replied with "if you look hard enough you can usually find something wrong with all of them".

Thats probably a fair call, looks like a great experience. Is the plane jumping into remote areas a one off with his paratrooper friends or something he is trying to market to the general hunting community?

Plans to make it an option for sheep hunters.
It's a small market though. Most of the hunters who have enough money to buy a Sheep tag have a well developed frontal lobe and aren't too keen on jumping out of planes.
I think those guys who jumped with him are all smoke jumpers.
Fire fighters who parachute in on remote fires with minimal gear to contain it until the big gear arrives.

To give you an idea of how crazy he is, he asks that if we come across a big cliff, throw a rock off it and count how long it takes to hit the bottom. More than three seconds and he will check it out for a base jump

    That was neat.

AATH should be banned on public land here, at least, but I'd be willing to make an exception if that was how they did it
