No, it is not. What sort of hunting do you do???

(I'm sure you don't shoot animals in a spot where they will die a prolonged death, sometimes pull through and survive).

It is very disappointing that the executive for Forest and Bird does not understand the fundamental errors of covering our environment in a toxic green rain that tells the whole world we are happy to poison the whole country.

Perhaps the SPCA should sit down with him and maybe someone could SHOW him what an animal dying of 1080 goes through. Get him to watch a possum in a cage eat it and see what it experiences...That will NEVER happen. No one is allowed to be that cruel.

On top of that I did not realise that Kevin Hague was a former Green MP.
The NZ Animal Welfare Act has an exception to its ban on deliberate animal cruelty - when it is part of a public pest control program.

Unsurprisingly however, a certain "Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals" believes DELIBERATE ANIMAL CRUELTY is unacceptable.

Even less surprising: NZ Herald has not opened its article for comments, just a link to the Forest and Bird spin tweet.

Yep, blatant bias - and the vid clip is all about the arrogant bleating F&B moron running down the SPCA.
