Ti tiringa or pukehuia hunting blocks

Anyone hunting these? Not sure which one I'm going to, but it'll be one of them. Any good spots to setup and glass from for the day ? T.i.a. any tips on hunting any of these ?

All bush hunting those two blocks. Plenty of better blocks around if you are wanting to sit around all day and glass.

Spent plenty of time in both, pre-fly in days.

What @Huntn says is correct. Its pretty gentle country so relatively easy to get around, but all bush hunting.

Buggar, any of them better or worse? Wouldn't mind utilizing my thermal binos for spotting.

The other question is .... 7mm saum, mid to long range not super light around 4.1kg, or the 338 whisper, 350m max shots 3.8kg easy to carry etc.

Have a read of the sika foundation management hunt reports, you might find some info in there.

Whitikau is a mint bush block, there is a productive slip face just down from the campsite.
