    Wallow still in use?

Went for a walk today, mainly to site a game camera and to try and keep these old legs moving.

Found a couple of wallows, one of which looks to be still in use. Is that likely or am I miss reading things.

Before anyone asks, I didn't put the camera over the wallow as I didn't want to disturb it any more than I had.
Hoping to follow up there next year.

Camera is on a game trail nearby.

Red deer can wallow all year round.
I saw a wallow in the bush early in the week well worked over so nothing unusual mate.

It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

Until trail cameras came into being - many of us didn't realise hinds also use wallows outside the roar. Though pigs in my area also use stag wallows.

I had thought of pigs as there is plenty of pig sign around as well, hadn't thought of hinds which as it happens is who I am trying to locate. Thanks.
    BTW that is decent wallow!

Quite a few of them use it almost daily. No deer unfortunately.

Late cycling hinds and spikers will use wallows a very small amount, once the older wise ones have moved on
