you are not wrong - on one program he was out on a safari farm at Taumurunui - was raving about his remington 25-06 - fine damn good caliber - puts up a target 100 yds down the side of a farm track and proceeds to shoot a check zero - fine no problem with that -always good to check ones zero -his shot was 1 inch high and 1 and 1/2 inch to the left - Geoff then declares that's near enough and leaves it at that - for fuck sake was he so pissed he thought he was actually lucky to hit the target on TV - at that range I want 1/4 inch or bettter ( sorry you metric guys ) but my old 788 308 will do that down to 1-2 mm if I am on

The legend hit on a young female work mate in an Auckland bar. Fair enough, but he wouldn't take no for an answer and it got unpleasant. Used the line, "do you know who I am"!

that sort of hog control just screams for a shot gun with buckshot.seperate magazine with loads of say#2 and #BB would be way more effective and humaine on the smaller stuff..I REALLY hope they have 2nd wagon driving along behind doing mop up duty, the ycertainly have some unreal numbers happening.

Theres no doubt they have a problem, when you see the damage one or two pigs can do you can only imagine how much damage that lot would do.

You would go through a bit of apple sauce eating that lot mate

I noticed he gave up on the machine gun pretty quickly, would have cost him a fortune on ammo

He certainly took hunting to a new (lower) level. Embarrassing, illegal from time to time and just plain dumb.

you are dead right - I was a Mountain safety firearms Instructor at the time and I often thought dont bother with doing expensive safety videos just put one of his programs on - never seemed to care much about where his bullets were going

You might be surprised at how many people simply don't care or consider their firing zone.
    Overkill is still dead.

Low population density and remote areas. It's fine until it isn't. Some European hunting cultures would be horrified that we fire rimfires up in to trees when possum hunting.
