Thread: 6.5prc any better than 308? Long range

Feel like I’m pushing the boundaries of my great 16” 308 for 400m plus shots.
Is a 6.5prc going to be a worthwhile calibre for this? 5-600m.

Reason for the 6.5prc is liking the idea of a shorter action, lower recoil and I guess market hype for these high BC pills!
Would also be going from chromoly to stainless. Anything else to consider?
