People crack me up about on the shelf ammo. Sure there are your common calibers that are on everyones shelves but anyone with a bit of brain power can ring there local and order damned near anything the fuck they want. If you dont reload you can still get factory ammo for just about anything excluding wildcats and a.i variants. Probably get 280 a.i factory though as they make the brass. What my point im trying to make with my rambling is .... if you want a caliber dont decide against it bcuase its not on every shelf in every store. Iv had 264 winmags 8mm mausers 257 wby mags 300 rums and have sourced factory ammo for all with a phone call.

Iv personally got a 280 and its a pain to find brass for, last night I made a dozen or so out of 270 cases and it is a sucky game, now I have to fire form them and trim,

the only options for brass freely avialble is norma at $2 per piece, and remington which Im not a fan of
factory bullet selection is basically hornady or federal, both I have to order

Bullet - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"A bullet is a projectile propelled by a firearm, sling, or air gun."

"The word "bullet" is sometimes colloquially used to refer to ammunition in general, or to a cartridge, which is a combination of the bullet, case/shell, powder, and primer. This use of 'bullet', when 'cartridge' is intended, leads to confusion when the components of a cartridge are discussed or intended."

I now have a 284 and 223wssm and dont reload but buy components and have someone load for me and I get exceptional accuracy for lower cost than factory.

You can with every tikka ive had anything to do with but then ive never shot a bad remington either. Most rifles these days will do moa or better if you find the ammo it likes

Tikka has got no sights on it "straight out of the box" so one needs a scope 'cos I'm fairly sure you aren't good enough to shoot MOA without sights of some sort.
