I noticed in this bit at the end,

" Pertains to make; model; barrel length, configuration. Calibres may vary, provided that they are equal to or less than .50 Cal (~.5 inches (12.7 mm) in diameter."

That rules out the 50BMG as it is .510, 10 thou to big, wonder if it was an over sight or not.......

Maybe that part of the website is down.
To be fair the POLICE did refuse Andrew Hore getting his licence back, it was a JUDGE who found that the Police did not do a thorough job interviewing his charater witnesses (they didn't interview any from memory) and the JUDGE gave his licence back.

Yesterday I was watching a yank wih a Remington 870 messing targets up with slugs, he mentioned that he could only use a smooth bore.... Now today I hear we are headed for similar issues.

Bit like the frog in the pot full of water, slowly turn the heat up and he doesn't know he is boiling alive, drop him in a hot pan and he jumps out

Handy that they didn't do the interviews, or prepare any real case. The judge even criticised the police for it

That's not the case. What has been published regarding Chassis systems would potentially stop them coming in at the import stage, not what is already here.
