Thread: Bergara B-14R .22LR

I see a new Bergara Rimfire out, does any body know any thing about them, have I missed a thread ?

Scout - That's the "new" lightweight version of the B14R. As I understand it, not a Remington 700 footprint action but will accept 700 triggers. These will sell well in the US and Bergara will be concentrating their sales there for a while I would think!
The word here in Aus is that we won't see them until September but with production & freight delays being what they are these days, I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for one!

We do the rem 700 compatible barreled actions and magazine so that you can drop them into any Remington 700 AICS chassis. This one is the Woox Furiosa Chassis.

I'm actually keen on one of the newer ones. I think it would get old having a big heavy Rem 700 pattern one, unless you had it set up exactly the same as a PRS type rig for training. If they take 700 pattern triggers, even better. Though with my previous experience with Bergara, it was hard to justify replacing the factory unit.

im thinking they might arrive faster than the lh tikka t1x. so could be an option to go in a chassis.
