    BSA .22 Open Sight Query

    Hi All,

Pictured below are the open sights on a .22 BSA Supersport 5 LR.
Does anyone know why the sights slowly increase in height, then have a bit of a dip again in the front??

Hmmm...the front set of wee 'teeth' is for a finger/thumb to sit when you adjust the sight.
That's why that front set are in a nice wee curved shape (to let a thumb/finger sit in there nicely).

    And

So you can turn the height ramp around for the front higher settings and the long ramp is protected inside the spring bar

As Muzza said, I did just this on a pump 22. was walking up the cow race. Said to my brother are look ive lost the ramp. Ill just go back and get it he was looking at like what a dick he'll never find that. Went about 200m and here it was liying in the dust. Really lucky.
Went back in the rightway round and stayed there.
