    Just saying, I'd make every effort to get it fixed. Destruction means it must be registered within 5 days, and all other arms items registered within 30 days.

    I didn't write the new legislation. Pretty sure a broken gun is still a gun.

    In this case the receiver (or master part) is no longer - and is impossible to repair. The bolt probably still needs registration as a part?

    If it was ‘destructed’ how would ‘they’ know it ever existed?

    Because everybody is a law abiding citizen and would do what is required of them, no matter how silly, stupid, pointless, the rules and regulations are...

    Because photos were posted on a public forum... if someone cones asking pointed questions, things could get decidedly awkward.
