    Dogs, CBD Oil and FAL's

Hi all, I need some advice. As some of you will know I have a dog who suffers from seizures and I'm trying to find a way to managed them for her. From hours of online research and asking around, CBD oil seems to be the most effective option, also will probably help my other dog with his arthritis. My main concern is would to down the CBD route have a negative affect my FAL?

I am on medicinal prescribed by doctor.
The medicinal is all CBD and bugger all THC which is the stuff that gets you high.
Nothing to do with your FAL and to be honest smoking dope is in my opinion less worrying than getting pissed on alcohol.
Your dog will not be smoking it and the analgesic properties are real.
Get a prescription from your vet.

Im not 100% how it it all works but im pretty sure that THC the bit that gets you high as above is the only bit that is illegal
If the CBD oil has less than X % of THC i think it’s perfectly legitimate but I could be mistaken

Magic stuff. Sorted my mum's Parkinson's shakes enormously.

As its a standard sort of drug it shouldn't have any effect on fit and proper. In fact it should show your compassion for your mate

The only issue I can see is if you self-prescribe it to your dog you need to prove that its for the dog - if you can get it on tick from a vet there shouldn't be an issue.

If you take it yourself you can run into an issue if you are required to do a piss test for work or if you are driving and the Police have reason to test you. Apparently even though there isn't enough of the THC component to create an impairment situation it can still cause a positive test - there was a bit of a song and dance about that side of it recently where Police confiscated a prescription medication from a driver and the doctor and the like got right up the Police. Having said that, as you are looking to give it to your animal your piss test should be sweet haha.

CBD can make you drowsy, that's about it. They were selling the stuff at the fieldays.

Check your dogs diet. Highly processed food can really bugger up a dog.Raw meat and home made biscuits works. Dig out an article from an aussie gun mag which cured those issues. Shampoo our dogs with horse shampoo. Makes a huge difference to coats and no fleas.

    Good morning.

I have been using CBD and also tried THC and 1:1 over past times and the CBD works the best for pain and sleeping etc. As far as legality is concerned its 100 fine and Id be quick to point out that its worth a try.
I have a contact who sells (Legally), and its NZ made.
