Weighs in at a tad under 400kg

He also asked if it was certified by an engineer.... I just pointed to my Trade Cert hanging on the wall and showed him my 4711 ticket.

Good enough was the reply, all signed off.

Total cost was $120 for the Locks.

I'd bee keen on another 10 gun safe if the price was right.
do they ask for a cert now when i built mine i just showed arms officer the plans he said sweet never asked if i had 4711 or anything. maybe as long as the welds dont look like bird shit then maybe it is fine, or maybe it differs from arms officer. has anyone here had an issue building there own safe?

Yep he asked if it was certified by an Engineer.
Not sure if thats a requirement or not but he was happy to see my tickets.
This is the third safe I have built and I've never had any problems with them when they have been inspected.
