Mate the missus just went down to Helensville and her parting shot was "you need to do some house cleaning".. When she gets back and asks why I haven't done any I will tell her you said the kitchen was fine.

The only reason that might happen is too many animals to carry in one day. Ha ha ha ha

I have successfully shot the 120 GMXs out past 1000 yards with the wsm & VX3 CDS so that got the thought process well underway

It currently weighs 2.880 kgs, 6.35lbs all up as shown in the pics.

I'm waiting for an even lighter stock with a better recoil pad

It is a Titanium action with 24" Lilja fluted barrel in 7-375 Ruger, Talley rings & VX3 4.5-14x40 CDS scope.

It happily pushes the 162 Amaxs at 3150 fps, it will go harder but I want to take it easy on the brass & action, Titanium is softer than SS & won't last forever.....

    Recoil is quite brisk....

I'm looking forward to getting the replacement stock, bedding it & assulting some rocks etc getting to know how it works.

I don't think my shoulder is though
Took it up the range today, getting 1/2 moa with the 162s at 3190fps & 3250 with the 140 Etip with the same 3/4 throttle load

Recoil is still interesting, can't wait for the Limbsaver

    Fark 3200 @ 3/4 throttle !!!

You aiming for shoulder replacement surgery ?

What are you expecting at full load on the 140 ?

Can you go lighter, similar to 110 in 7mm rem mag ?

The Etips don't/wont go as fast as jacketed projectiles, being solid copper they have a long bearing surface with no relief grooves like the GMX & TTSX.

Can't see why you couldn't run the 110s man they would be screaming.

I used to use them in my Titanium SAUM years ago

No good for LR duties but....

Shoot Magpies like Dundee does ha ha ha ha. Google Savage 110BA for the spec's (unless you mean the ones I wear when driving).

i say rushy ol chap what do you &your sweetpea charge per shot.Reason being i know of a few canadas Id like to shout a wakeup call!!I'd imagine a hunk of lead whistling past your arse at a high rate of knots would encourage them to vacate their farter fairly rapidly and hopefully in their indignation fly right into my loving arms.
Im nothing if not an optimist.

For a scholar and a gentleman like you Kotuku it would be gratis. How wide can you spread your arms? You may end up with 3 or 4 at a time

Just got my lastest toy, even though I had a no rattle guns or pistols policy.....

It is a DPMS lower with a 1-7, 300 AAC Blackout upper, Timney trigger, VX3 4.5-14x40 CDS.

I'm waiting on a decent scope mount for it.

So far I'm very happy with it, nice & light with very little recoil, reasonably accurate so far with the 110s & 125s.

Haven't decided on a suppressor for it yet.....will probably get one
