    Very nice rifle man.

    Wonder how long before people start drilling these for scope mounts and putting some crazy stock chassis on them...I like that sort of thing original.

    I hope people don't start messing with K31's
    Posting images here and not in the Walnut & Blued Steel thread because I think the stock might be Beech?
    They are very well made rifles. If you like a fine piece of engineering you would probably appreciate the swiss straight pulls.

    Yup that looks like Beech to me.
    Very common Timber in Southern Germany and maybe CH too?

    I reckon chuck your photos in walnut and blued because to me it is really "wood and blued".
    Some really nice stocks made from other timbers.

    K31 are the most accurate milsurp rifle imo

    Mind you the m38 is bloody good aswell
    Ive had both and they are two regrettable sales
