No history as yet, non original case is made of Teak and was made for previous owner in Thailand I believe. Will try to trace back, think manufacture would have been 1920ish. Last owner had it for 30 yrs, he lives within 1/2 mile from me. I run passed his house on my morning exercise! Small world!

You silly old bugger Maca, you shouldn't be running at your age. Don't you realise you are using up your allocated heartbeats faster than you need to? You only get so many you know?
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

@Maca49 Now THAT is gun porn. There is something about those NE double rifles, pure style and brute force.

If you shoot south to north I'll put a net up. Might catch your shoulder as it goes by.

@Maca49 that's sweet. Nice wood on the stock and I love the sights especially the flip up front.
    Happy hunting.
