I load that bullet in my 223 and it's a good deer/goat bullet, have used the Belmont stuff years back and it chrono at just about 3000 fps ( 2922 fps), just about the same as my handloads. Good bullet which is hard to beat for the price.

My new Sauer 100xt Cerakote .308 topped with a Zeiss terrace scope.
Shoots beautifully, so easy to handle.
The scope has nice clear glass.
Only sighted it in, yet to take it for a proper walk.
Might need to go for a walk up the Rangitata.

I'm going buy a lot more of that Belmont!

Just buy it direct from whanganui via mail order.

Once my Barnaul runs out I'll try it in my ar15.

Hey @Trig can you adjust the trigger on that one?
Had a play with one the other week in 30 06 really nice to have a go on something else but man was that trigger heavy compared to my BSA. Forgot to ask the guy if it was adjustable.

Yes Sideshow. Its externally adjustable, came with a littlehex key to do it
Mine broke real clean and crisp with no creep, so I've left it at factory settings for the time being.

Sako 85 Bavarian, Leupold Vari-X compact 3-9, went down the farm just now to sight it in, good old federal blue box shoots bloody good, dont think I will bother reloading for it
