This is the new mini over barrel modular for rifles like Bergara ,and howa 300 blackout on mini action , when not much of the barrel is sticking out of the fore end (95mm). They are rated for no bigger cartridge than 308.

I got a Bergara as well to replace my 300BO AR hunting rifle that horseface confiscated
Check the bolts on the scope rail tho, mine came loose after 30 rounds today.
I like it so far though, farkall to it really so there cant be much that can go wrong with it.
Insanely light trigger, i need much more practice with it to bring those groups in tighter @ 100m
Its same as yours cept with a longer over barrel DPT suppressor and a nightforce 1- 4 of my dead 3 hundy BO
Be dealing death to goats or punching holes in paper 1 shot at a time, cause semis are too evil aye.........
Gona come up with a belt or stock pouch to hold the 308 rounds in a way that hopefully makes it easier/faster to load

I tightened them before mounting the scope but will keep an eye on them and epoxy the rail if needed.

100% loctitie bolts and bed rail, they are notorious for working themselves loose. Mine did twice. Do either of your release mechs bind up a bit? I'm thinking it's time to take mine back

I haven’t noticed any binding, but the rifle spent the afternoon in pieces while I measured OAL for various projectiles, checked chambering of various cases and rounds and cleaned the barrel.
One thing I did notice is that the action won’t open no matter how hard you work the hammer I need some serious practice time before I need a second shot at an animal!

A helpful tip is to check all mounts put on all rifles either at the factory or your favorite gun shop especially chain stores...

Rinse them with brake clean to get rid of all the oil...then break out the loctite & go mad

What's the recoil like on the .308? They are really light rifles aren't they?

Haven't fired mine yet, but they are around 3kg or just under unscoped. They have a good recoil pad, and with the suppressor I expect it will be less recoil than my fibreglass stocked Brno. I'll be running mostly lighter loads in mine with 30-30 projectiles anyway, I have the 170gr do a bit under 2400fps in the Brno, it will be interesting to see what the speed is with a third less barrel length, probably about normal 30-30 speed.

Not that light man pretty hefty barrel. Recoil is not bad at all, good straight stock with a decently high comb. Felt Recoil is low for a 308

Yes to me it does have a bit, as you say very light rifle, nothing to them
Suppressor makes it way better to shoot IMHO & it does have a good recoil pad

Definitely had some kick, probably similar or a bit less than my Brno, but more muzzle lift, noise, and flame! The guys watching were having a laugh.
The suppressor calmed it down a lot both in noise and recoil.
