    Hello, I have a good idea of the difference, Cerakote in all the testing performs significantly better than gun coat. From memory gun coat fails abrasion testing in under 500 cycles, Cerakote fails at just under 6000 cycles. I researched all this prior to setting up my workshop for coating firearms from taupo
