Thanks for all the advice and opinions. I went and got one. Broke the barrel in and put a few more rounds through it to sight it in on Saturday. Very happy with it. Will be going out to a large forestry block this weekend to knock over a few goats and hopefully a pig or two.
All to do now is upgrade the scope.

I've found when you've got an animal in your scope compared to paper, it doesn't matter how much recoil a rifle has, your so focused on the animal you don't even think about it Originally Posted by Alpinehunter0
