I have a custom CF stock on my mini, shortened mag release and a three shot cut down mag with a 5 shot carried as a spare. Works a treat. Have never dropped a mag out. Balance point is in front of the sticky out mag and weight all up with scope, suppressor etc etc is five pounds. Works well and fixes most of the design faults in the mini.

Where did you get the CF stock? I'm on the lookout for a standard stock to suit the heavy barrel version until me chassis arrives. A mate has offered up his standard channel stock (thinner barrel), but don't want to butcher it to fit

I keep shilling the idea that someone should make these guns work with AR15 mags in the hope that some bright spark with the gear actually does it

Howa might need to redesign the bottom of the action I suspect

Gunworks has a new batch of complete howa rifles. I can confirm that the mag release has changed, is smaller and stiffer (as the bishop said to the nun). I haven't used one so can't confirm that the problem is fixed but I definitely want one out of the new batch.

Went and got a refund after they fucked me around for 6 months. Will not darken their door again.

Here is my info in case it helps anyone. Bronco sports said that they are still waiting for the Excl. They don't really know but it's unlikely to be before March.

I swapped a few brief emails with Ken and he said he will be getting them in stock when they are available.

Ken's a good guy. He helped above and beyond the call of duty when bought an NEA15 (sob) from him.

Broncos told me: October, early November, late November, early December (insisting it would be avail in early December while I was standing in front of the dickhead on the 9th of December, with nothing in country). Save yourself the hassle and deal with someone else. Ken's pretty spot on, but anyone but Broncos
