OK, I'll add my bit though it's already been said.
Blr all day. I've had a few levers. They're a mix of rough grindy actions. Poor accuracy. Low combs and terrible scope attachments. Tube mags are fine and as a pig hunter I had rounds banging against one another for years and never heard of a round cracking off.
My Blr is cut super short and is in 243. Now that should burn a barrel however it's just for Bush deer not targets so would take a thousand rounds. Even with a 15"barrel it still shoots 1. 25-1.75 at 100. Trigger has softened up of 30years. Superformance ammo.
For Bush shooting goats in a world without semis, it has no peers. Just my opinion.
