Are there any plans to run suppressors on the MARS-L?

Apart from the guys who already do of course..

Those that know best, valued my Colt SP1 more than I did. Why own a semi auto copy when you can legally own the real thing for less (with the correct licences endorsement obviously).

SA80 is objectively one of the worst military rifles I have ever handled.

On basic and corp training I was issued a brand spanking Austrian steyr, I didnt have any issues and thought it wasnt too bad. At Battallion I got what appeared to be the platoon bike, looked like everyone had used it....there was no blueing left on the barrel, the gas piston face had been rounded off and the gas plug had huge garks gouged into it from a previous owner attacking it with a screw driver to remove the carbon.....it was the most unreliable POS, continuously having stoppages...man I hated that thing!!!

No, they would choose an M4 all day long. It seems the inherent advantages of the bullpup design have been outweighed by the negatives. NZDF made the right call.
By today's standards the optic was very average. The army rifles were worn out. Air force and navy were not as bad due to less use.

You say it in jest, but it is actually the MO. Lead with emotions and paint yourself as a real bleeding heart.

Until you compete against them on a range. The brit rifle team were pretty friggen good at shooting comps and their 4x optic pissed over the Styer in precision stuff.

What does that mean for situations where the rifle is used full auto for an extended period. Must be a mega tough chamber?

There has been a move to heavier barrels to dissipate the heat of rapid fire such as the so-called SOCOM M4 profile barrel. The increased heat produced by hot loads is unlikely to make nearly as much difference as how fast you pull the trigger.

Yes mostly, i understand the 62gr they are using has been tweaked to have the same trajectory as the 77gr... or pretty close to it.
