    Looking at a new scope

So looking at getting a new scope at the end of the year.

    Thinking 30mm tube minimum
    Exposed elevation turret at least
    FFP
    Zero stop
    max mag of 14x minimum
    Mil-Mil
    good glass
(basically all your bells and whistles)

trying to keep it around 2-2.5k

Ive looked at March Scopes however havent really heard much about March. hoping people on here can shed some light.

    Cheers,

    Willus

    @Willus

    Easy choice

    Leupold VX5HD 3-15x44 CDS

    https://www.leupold.com/scopes/compa...5x44mm-cds-zl2

Just put one on my BRNO and I'm loving it.

    Cheers

Doesn't come in mil/mil or FFP.

Vortex Viper PST Gen 2 looks like a pretty neat scope, never looked through one but is supposedly a big step up in glass over the Gen 1.

You need a mark 6 to go ffp mil mil, but that is 34 mm tube.there is an older 3.5x10x40 mark 4 which was ffp. But Moa/mil.
The bushnell elite hunter would suit , there is even an elite tactical in that class, but I am not sure it is imported here.

Nightforce would be another option as well.

Might be worth looking at natchezss.com as they have a huge range around the 1K USD mark that may suit your needs?

don't mind a 34mm, but those Mark 6s are expensive!

Tangent Theta (was Premier). @338 may even still have his for sale. Unsure if it was MIL though.
The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change; until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds

Have had a few nice turrets etc nice weight the 52mm version is the one to go for the glass is OK the vx6 especially hd version will be better and they're bloody expensive so you won't get one for your 2-2.5k budget

I have a buddy that has an ar10 that he set up for steel and he runs one of these, they have been discontinued so the few I have found are very well priced compared to what they originally went for. Had a look through it and a play with it and seems bloody good value to me
