    Micro actions what's out there.

Looking around for 6x45 or 6x47 conversions, what rifles fit the following criteria.

Blued or stainless action - must be micro sized (prefer not 08 case size) not fussed about control fed
Box mag (drop plate) or flush mag fit
    Under 6 pounds bare
    Low bolt lift
Synthetic stock - good quality ie sako, forbes end quality stock from factory or ability to fit aftermarket easily.

Talk to Kiwi Greg at Terminator Products, get him to import a Stolle/Panda action

    The ultimate would be a 7x 58 with a .540 base dia

    I'm not sure I would bother with a 6x45 or 6x47

But I have a Sako A1 in .223 in a Tikka T3 STUG stock with 18" slightly heavy barrel which weighs 2.3kg

Howa mini doesn't have a flush fit mag unfortunately, don't think the CZ527 does either.

I've got a cz 527 atm , it has high bolt lift, I've had the 3 shot mag fitted and the trigger guard machined down so it's flush enough. But stock options are also limited.

Gimp, how does that go about fitting the tikka stock? Ie T3's are LA but that sako is short?
@camo wsm yea that's one option I'm looking closely at, but again thats 08 sized action.

It is an 08 size in terms of bolt face but definitely smaller than a one size fits all tikka or rem short action etc and you will need that sized bolt face anyway, plus the mag size is perfect for that case..

This would fit the bill as long as the internal mag length is about 60-62mm, then you could look at 6x45, 6x47 or 6mm204. Make a nice wee gun in one of those, 60 deg bolt lift etc etc.
