Very nice , it will serve you well. It is a shooter as well and in a great caliber. I always want one from that period but when I started out they were a little out of reach for me and I ended up with a Parker Hale 270 which was a good rifle but i think the BSA's were a bit more refined. Would love one in 7x57 one day when I can afford one.

Sold the same model in .243 to Tamamutu a few weeks ago on this forum. He swooped on it as soon as he saw it. Shot very well with handloads 95gr Hornady SST. Wasn't using it apart from reduced loads shooting bunnies so made room in my cabinet for 17HMR.

Hey team, it is with a heavy heart that I have decided to sell this rifle. There's another "new lady" in my life now and I see myself travelling down the same slippery slope I've been down before with a heap of time and money invested in rifles that just sit in the safe. It's been a fun wee project and as shown it still shoots very well. Is it something for the purists? Probably not, but it's a beautiful little rifle that handles and shoots great even compared to modern standards and it scratches that itch if a bit of nostalgia is what you crave. I'd like $650 for it or $850 including the glass. Would prefer if someone could pick it up or I could possibly get it to most places in Southland/Otago. Will send it though if buyer is willing to be patient as I very rarely make it into town during business hours.
Will post up same post in buy sell soon. Cheers

270 is the smallest positive integer that has divisors ending by digits 1, 2, …, 9.
