    one out of the box is the scope on my Stirling 14p 22. Hubertus 4x32. Got the rifle second hand back in about 87
    Crashed the motorbike with it on my back, broke the bolt handle off (had to be brazed back on). Scope never missed a beat. It was never nursed either.
    Never fogged, always holds zero and sights in well.
    Obviously lenses not as good as others but works well enough.
    I also reckon its closer to 3x than 4. Everything just seems a little further away and more field of view. Never got around to confirming it against my vari powers.
    Never seen another one. One day I'd like to put another scope on it but cant bring myself to do it. Haven't shot a group out of it in years. It always seemed to hit what I was aiming at. Don't want to ruin the legend
