    I once had trouble with 2 piece optilocks where the big screw holding the rings onto the base had come loose after 1000 rounds. Shots were going about a foot low but inconsistently. Wasted a bit of ammo and it took a while to find. You dcant see it unless you take the base off the action. The scope did rattle in the end. Tightened the screw and it’s fixed.

    Could you also confIrm whether you’ve checked there isn’t a whole lot more adjustment range available if you shift whatever zero stop mechanism you have ? A scope will usually have over a metre vertical range at 100m.
