it's not you mate don't worry.

They tried this shit back in 09 and as a result the NSA successfully challenged them in the high court.

    I believe it's 5 Nil to the NSA :-)

When you do a S43a form from memory they ask for a serial number, funny that
I give them a bull shit number, they don't endear themselves to the guys that would like to help them in their work! I just sent my private details to a complete stranger so he can get an S43 to purchase a shotgun off me today, makes me feel vulnerable!

@Savage1 Which bit the special "conditions" or the fact we all are moaning about it
All those with dogs waiting no longer fear death. Those with many dogs waiting even welcome it in it's time.

Sadly I can't say what I really think here, it's in my contract, something about not bringing the police into disrepute.

Sorry @veitnamcam but I'm just a pleb, but I know I'll make my views known to my AO about this.

Maybe they've drawn a line on calibre regarding safe use, I'm sure if they issued a acat import permit for a howitzer they'd want some kind of conditions of use.

If you guys have experience with range templating / construction and what projectiles (especially large calibres) do when they strike hard objects then you would think that this is pretty sound advice.

No one likes being "told" what they can and can't do.

But in this instance I think its sound advice from the AO.

witholding over 40 permits to procure from one single gunshop with countless others and not processing AR permits.... Yea their not breaking the law at all!

Or shall we remind them of a certain pistol grip saga?

I hear 6 Nill calling the NSA.

There is a current proceeding to go before the high court on part of a joint venture by COLFO and the NSA with Nick Taylor QC pertaining to these permits SHOULD ANYONE have similar examples Please please get in touch with either organisation which can be found on Facebook

I know of at least one oerlikon on A cat... the bottom linesis that they have no mandate to impose such conditions on an A cat rifle. It is the shooters responsibilty to ensure that it is safe to discharge their rifle.
