My issue is the proof barrel is thicker where it meets the scope objective. I have tracked down a couple of options however and will be sorting it this week.

Just do what the rest of us do mate and get the receiver drilled and tapped then buy a rail from the likes of Waitaki Engineering or others and your good to go.

That's what I love about the fierce action, they are a clone sako 85 but drilled and tapped like a rem 700 no dove tails. The screws are also the next size up to handle bigger calibers recoil, I have had zero trouble with my fierce rem mag and rail set up but my mate with his sako 85 finlight had the whole rail and scope come off under recoil which is less than ideal.

I’m running a near too. Pity it’s not mulled for top loading like buzz’s, might have to wait until he is looking the other way!

What rings/mounts did you end up getting? They look pretty neat, exactly what I'm after?

You still need to cant that sucker do you not?

That leaves Burris rings and inserts or a rail fitted.

I've given up and I'm in low optilocks with a 50mm objective and factory contour. It's such a nice fit I don't want the extra adjustment.

I never liked my rail. It's one more heavy thing. 75s have enough heavy bits.
