Clearidge XP5 from OpticZone.com if you're willing to go to 30mm tube, around $ 460 US

Awesome value for money, glass quality is the best bang for buck I've seen, very good turrets.

Alternatively Vortex Viper HS-T 4-16x44, also 30mm tube

Why do you require a scope with more magnification than 9x? Surely you can see a deer clearly enough with even a 6x to make shots out a long, long way.

Weaver superslam 2-10 or 3-15. Think natchez is still the cheaoest place to get them but be prepared for 2wks-a month shipping time.

I rate my Superslam as well... Just not as rugged/durable as my Bushnell.

The only scope I've ever had in my life that has completely shit it self, like the reticle just plain had bits hanging off it like twigs was a Bushnell elite, they fixed , it happened again, they replaced it , I sold the replacement new in the box and Bought a VX111,still got the VX111.
Probably just got a bad one.
