A mail order form isn’t hard just get one if that’s what they want you want your rifle
So going to the police station with the form pre filled out (download it of the police website) and fill it out before going to the Station
It only takes seconds for them to check your license and fax it to the ao for sign off
Can very easily get it shiped via courier aswell
Yes it can’t be shiped to your door (fair enough imo the amount of firearms that the rural postie has left on my doorstep) id prefer to know its Secure and pick it up from the depot or local gun shop

Ive always used fastway with no issues but last time they broke the stock inhalf on a ruger m77
So ill probably try someone else next time
