Yes it does.

I actually prefer the opposite by dropping a T3X barreled action into a T3 stock, and put the T3X recoil pad, which is the softer pad, onto the T3.
The T3X stock does have the advantage of the exchangeable pistol grip, but I find the anti slip pattern protrudes too much, not as streamlined and comfortable to hold as the T3.
