    Trigger adjustment Remington 700

I have several new rifles arrived now my W.A. license has been approved and of course some triggers needed a play, the Mauser M18 needed nothing it was superb out of the box the Bergara B14 has come up a treat with adjustment, getting a kit for the Mod2 brno so that's sorted, now the Remington 700 I've adjusted the screw on the trigger and the trigger is now pretty damn good...... but the adjustment screw now gets in the way of my trigger finger is there a fix for that at all or do I just need to put up with it?

    Cheers

p.s Anyone played with Martini cadet triggers?

Take the screw right out, it's only there to allow user to increase weight above factory setting of internal weight adjustment screw.

If it's the X Mark/ X Mark Pro, just bin it and buy a TriggerTech Special.

@nor-west Read about them here before you do too much to it. Trigger Springs|Aluminum Pillar|Pillar Bedding|Gunsmithing
The X Mark has two springs and basically the adjustable spring under the trigger does f... all.

The x-mark poo can be adjusted to be lighter and crisper, but the blade is just all kinds of wrong. Not enough grip on the contact face to be able to control the let off properly, any sweat or sunscreen or anything at all slippery and you just slide all over it. Yuk...

All good now, read an article on a forum with diagrams and it now has a lovely let off, there are some tiny internal screws which after some adjustment have sorted it out, nice light clean break with no creep have run the normal bump and slam bolt tests and its fine.

    Thanks for the help.
