    VX-5 2-10 & Bergara Extreme Hunter Mounting

    Hi all!

    Curious if anyone has mounted a VX5 2-10 on a Bergara Extreme Hunter or B-14 Short Action? Be good to know how low I can go with rings, I'm thinking Talley lightweights.

    Ive got a 3-15x44 vx5 on my extreme hunter, has mediums, approx from bottom of scope tube to action 12mm front 15mm rear. Could possibly go lower but might not be able to fit cover on objective.Name: 20221111_202919.jpg Views: 304 Size: 2.82 MB

    @Steera1 is that a Hi Tec stock? Did it fit okay with the Extreme Hunter? Much weight saving vs the original stock?

    I think it is a Hi Tec, weight saving probably not worth it to be fair, I just had the stock sitting there so thought it was worth making it fit. Had to ditch the detachable mag and swap to a floorplate, bit of fiddling with the mag box to get it to fit properly.
